Caroline J. Clarke Connelly, MS/CCC-SLP, PC, is a Florida-certified educator and an accomplished, award-winning ASHA Certified/CCC speech-language pathologist. She was the recipient of an award presented by the Speech-Language Impaired Program of one of the largest urban school districts in the nation, for professional work-related excellence and flexibility, a prestigious and peer-nominated honor. She is a PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) certified clinician, has mentored and supervised graduate students in the field of speech-language pathology, has mentored beginning educators, and taught students in both regular and special education.
She’s a professional musician, vocalist, songwriter, recording artist, and has released a CD of co-written original music/lyrics entitled “Caroline…Catch Love.”
Caroline’s family and family history is a source of loving, creative inspiration. Caroline is the great-granddaughter of Henry B. Clarke and Caroline Palmer Clarke, whose historic home, and her family’s ancestral home, is the Clarke House Museum, in Chicago, Illinois.
Her parents instilled the desire for higher education, a passion for creativity and ongoing service to others. Her father, George Walker Clarke, was an author, city editor of the New York Daily Mirror, and columnist for the Boston Daily Record for over 30 years. In addition to being a devoted homemaker, her mother, Helen S. Santerella, had a successful career as a professional vocalist/entertainer in the greater Boston area.
Caroline’s passion is to honor her family’s rich legacy of compassion, kindness, creativity, and service to others, by creating and communicating beauty. She shares her knowledge, music, and writing to inspire, empower, uplift, and bring joy to others. Whether her path involves her work as a writer, speech-language pathologist, educator, songwriter, or performer, it is always a journey of joy!
